Nord Anglia International School, Hong Kong has announced that it will become an IB World School in August, offering the Diploma Programme.

Principal Brian Cooklin said:

"I am delighted to announce that we have passed our IB verification visit and will be authorised to become an IB School to offer the IB Diploma Programme as of August this year. Our report contained 14 commendations regarding the successes of the school in preparing for the IB. In particular, the quality of teachers, the extensive training provided and the wide choice of subjects available were all noteworthy.

"It has been a great team effort, which is fitting for our “Be Ambitious” philosophy, especially when you consider our IB application was fast-tracked and that we achieved the success in record time. It is another milestone achievement in the school’s growth and development.

"This will complete our curriculum pattern of English National Curriculum IGCSEs from Cambridge followed by the IB Diploma Programme. In my experience, this pattern gives the greatest success for the largest number of students and prepares them well for the next stage."
