ICS Côte d’Azur, the international, bilingual Primary School located in Sophia Antipolis, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking investment of one million euros by Globeducate into school facilities, with a particular focus on enhancing Early Years classrooms and the mediathèque. This significant investment reflects the school’s unwavering commitment to providing its students with the best possible learning environment.

The revamped Early Years classrooms will be equipped with ergonomic furniture, interactive learning tools, and easy indoor-outdoor access to create dynamic spaces that inspire collaboration, creativity, and innovation for the youngest learners.

Across the entire school, interconnecting doors linking English and French classrooms will also be introduced. With the ability to merge two classrooms when necessary, the school can readily incorporate combined lessons, group activities, and projects. The main focus will always be on separate English and French lessons with two teachers. However, current research shows that there are benefits to bringing students together for short periods of time at specific stages in their learning to expose them to both languages simultaneously.

Furthermore, the mediathèque will undergo a transformation to become a vibrant hub of knowledge and exploration, featuring an extensive collection of resources, comfortable reading areas, and modern amenities to support research and independent study for the eldest students.

This investment reaffirms Globeducate's dedication to excellence in education and ensures that all students have access to the resources they need to thrive academically and personally.

Head of School, Ms. Gina Bianchi says: "I'm so proud to announce the renovations to current and future ICS families and beyond, we are excited to witness the positive impact this will have on our school community for years to come."
