EU Business School (EU) is thrilled to announce that it is expanding its Barcelona campus with the addition of a new location. EU has acquired a new building with the aim of providing students, faculty and staff with better services that will include: more classrooms, offices, study spaces and lounge areas.

The building was chosen under the advisement of international real estate advisor Savills. Marie Laure Fenet, head of office agency, Savills Barcelona, comments: “The Diagonal building is a significant addition to EU’s current campus in the city. The surrounding area offers plenty of parks, gardens, cafés and restaurants for students and staff to enjoy.”

Located at Diagonal 648, the building is in a prime position on one of Barcelona’s most important avenues and just across the road from the trendy L’Illa shopping center. According to Carl Craen, vice president and managing director at EU Business School: “This is an exciting time for EU. This new campus provides state of the art, high-tech facilities for our ever-expanding student body, creating the perfect environment to maintain and build upon our innovative brand of education.”

Inside the new campus building, spectacular views of both the Mediterranean Sea and the Collserola mountain range complement the stylish, contemporary interiors, with large windows ensuring an abundance of natural light. With a total space of 3,200 square metres over nine floors and 29 parking spaces distributed below ground, the Diagonal building is a considerable addition to the EU Barcelona campus.

Renovations to the new building will take place over the summer in preparation for classes to begin in October for the 2017 academic year. Throughout the summer transition period, classes and offices currently located in the Augusta and Mitre buildings will be relocated to either the Ganduxer or Diagonal buildings. As of October 2017, operations in the Augusta and Mitre buildings will be shut down completely with the Ganduxer and Diagonal buildings remaining fully operational.
