Wellington College International School Bangkok is part of the prestigious Wellington College Family of Schools, whose founding school was established in England over 160 years ago, receiving a royal charter from Queen Victoria. Wellington College Bangkok is open to students aged 2 to 18. Children are welcome to join us in Pre-Nursery and stay until Year 13 when they will take A-Levels and move on to the world's best universities. We are absolutely focused on the individual child throughout. We work with parents to share the responsibility of guiding the children to academic, social and personal success. Every child is different, and every child will follow a different path. We find what is best for each child and we develop their passions and nurture their strengths. Whether a child is starting out on their first few phrases in Mandarin or preparing for Under 13 Basketball or taking IGCSE exams, they will be doing so the Wellington Way.

Our founding school has an exceptional academic record and we follow in their footsteps along with the other Wellington Schools globally. We teach the English National Curriculum from Early Years to IGCSE and A Level exams. The programme is enhanced to reflect Thai culture, to ensure an awareness of Thailand, of South East Asia, and of the Asian continent and its place in world history and politics. Our teachers are highly qualified and very experienced both in the UK and globally. They share a passion for teaching and for continuous professional development. The learning spaces extend way beyond the walls of the classroom. Classrooms are linked to each other and set around collaborative learning and play spaces. The Junior School follows a journey from Pre-Nursery to Year 6 and the progression is marked not just in the change in spaces and the quality of the work on the walls but by the development of the students. Our Early Years have developed a wonderful reputation and a huge popularity in just five years. We are determined to give our children the very best start on their journey. Our Senior School has a beautiful circular atrium around which sit classrooms, shared spaces and collaborative learning areas. It will grow upwards and eventually develop a second building as our IGCSE and A-Level cohorts grow.

Students also have the chance to take part in every sport they could wish for. Our swimming squads and golf squads are very successful, boasting international level stars in the making. Our football, netball and basketball teams take on schools within Bangkok and across Asia. And children run, jump, play and experiment with each and every game, sport, pastime - because it's fun.
