The International Academy – Amman (IAA) is a school of vision, principle, and aspiration, where a dedication to excellence drives continuous growth and achievement. Its four foundational pillars – Leadership, Duty, Cultural Heritage, and Acceptance – form the core of a clearly defined purpose: to inspire Learners of Today to become Leaders of Tomorrow.

As an inclusive, non-profit educational institution, IAA offers a world-class curriculum with a strong emphasis on innovation, technology integration, and sustainability. Rooted in a Jordanian context yet global in outlook, the school celebrates both national heritage and international mindedness. This is reflected in its diverse faculty, representing more than ten countries, and in the robust spirit of interculturalism that permeates the community.

IAA is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and is also a BTEC-accredited centre. It holds memberships in the Educational Collaborative for International Schools (ECIS), International School Services (ISS), and the Jordan Green Building Council. As a proud Eco-School, IAA actively promotes environmental initiatives, embedding sustainable practices across its community.

The school is authorised to offer three IB programmes: the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), and most recently, the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). This authorisation provides students in Grades 11 and 12 with multiple academic and career-focused pathways that combine rigorous academic study with practical, real-world learning.

This educational journey begins in Kindergarten and culminates in Grade 12. The Kindergarten programmes feature diverse curricula designed to build a strong foundation for future success. In Primary School, IAA delivers a comprehensive, inclusive, and rigorous curriculum that integrates local and international frameworks, balancing global standards with national requirements in Arabic, Social Studies, and Religion. In Secondary School, students benefit from the IB MYP in Grades 6–10 before progressing into the DP, IBCP, or IB Courses.

Beyond academics, students are encouraged to explore their individual talents through a wide range of extracurricular opportunities in leadership, athletics, arts, public speaking, service, and environmental stewardship. As a result, IAA graduates consistently secure placements at competitive and top-tier universities worldwide.

At IAA, the sky is the limit – the school continues to nurture principled, innovative, and compassionate leaders prepared to thrive in a complex global society.
