Welcome to the British School of Brussels (BSB), an award-winning international educational institution catering to 1,326 students from 70 different nationalities, spanning ages 1 to 18. Distinguished as the sole school in Belgium offering three distinct pre-university pathways - A Levels, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and BTEC vocational courses - BSB ensures a diverse range of academic opportunities for its students.

At BSB, diversity is celebrated and embraced through our French-English bilingual programme, commencing from age 4 in Primary School until age 14 (Year 9) in Secondary School. Additionally, support is readily available for students with English as an additional language and those with Additional Educational Needs.

Our Early Childhood Centre (ECC) provides a nurturing environment for children aged 1 to 3, fostering a happy and stimulating atmosphere conducive to early development. Recognised for its exceptional indoor and outdoor learning spaces, ECC sets the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

In the Primary School, students benefit from a tailored curriculum that blends the warmth of a small school community with the resources of a larger institution. Rooted in a bespoke, inquiry-driven approach inspired by the UK national curriculum, our Primary education caters to the diverse needs of our student body.

Transitioning to Secondary School, BSB offers a harmonious blend of British and international educational standards, culminating in three pre-university pathways: English A Levels, BTEC qualifications, and the prestigious IB Diploma. Our commitment to academic excellence is evident in our students' outstanding achievements, with a remarkable average pass rate of 98% in the IB Diploma Programme and a 99% pass rate at A Level over the past four years.

Beyond academics, BSB encourages students to explore their interests and hone their talents through a rich array of extracurricular activities. From sports to arts, our school fosters holistic development, supported by state-of-the-art facilities including our own swimming pool and a modern sports centre, equipped with world-class amenities such as gymnastics spaces, a dance studio, and a fitness arena.

At BSB, we are dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world. Join us on a journey of academic excellence and personal growth at the British School of Brussels.
