Sotogrande International School (SIS) is a day and boarding school for children from ages 4 months to 18 years old. It follows the IB (International Baccalaureate) programme throughout and is one of top 75 IB schools worldwide and top 5 IB schools in Spain.

Our school is a member of Inspired Education group, the leading global premium group of schools that offer excellence in education to over 75,000 students worldwide. From exchange programmes to exclusive camps, to leadership conferences and shared learning experiences, Inspired offers a range of enriching global opportunities which give students a chance to travel, meet peers from other countries and become a part of a vibrant international community.

With more than 1,300 children coming from 54 different countries, Sotogrande's classrooms are brimming with culture and diversity; thus, our learning community can inspire and encourage intercultural understanding.

This rigorous academic environment consistently translates to excellent academic results, with both IB MYP (MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAMME) and IB Diploma students achieving scores that are above world average scores - our average point score in 2022 was 34. These impressive results have meant that 90% of graduates were admitted to their first choice of university.

Our school also offers a unique 'Elite Sports Programme' that combines our rigorous education with professional sport - including basketball, golf, tennis, swimming and more. This programme helps athletes to excel in their sport whilst also maintaining an elevated level of studies.

Technology also plays a significant role in our school, as it is embedded in the curriculum for all students. Additionally, the young engineers programme, F1 in Schools programme and the Hyperbaric surfboard and a hydrofoil challenge provide an exciting way for students to experience hands on learning in STEM. We are encouraging our students to think critically and creatively, giving rise to the next generation of innovators.

Students who choose to board at our school are sure to benefit from the warm, and vibrant community with new and amazing resources and staff. The new boarding facility, Templeton House, has been designed with student comfort in mind. The cosy and modern furnishings will allow them to be as comfortable as possible. The ensuite rooms will be climate-controlled, with house-wide access to Wi-Fi. These facilities have been recognised and commended by the Boarding School Association, as our school received the International School of the Year Award in 2021.
