Mulgrave, The International School of Vancouver is a multicultural, gender-inclusive International Baccalaureate World School (pre-school to Grade 12). Nestled on the slopes of Cypress Mountain, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and downtown Vancouver, our stunning campus provides students and faculty custom-built spaces where they can inspire each other as they are all inspired by the views. Our diverse community is united in its commitment to develop the interpersonal and intercultural skills, attitudes, and values that will allow our students to thrive and be happy no matter where in the world they find themselves. Our graduates go on to post-secondary institutions across the globe; this year, they have accepted offers spanning from UBC and McGill in Canada, to Parsons and UC Berkeley in the United States, and to Cambridge and Leiden University College abroad.

Our Mission: Inspiring Excellence in Education and Life

Through the continuous pursuit of personal best, Mulgrave strives to equip lifelong learners to thrive in a culturally diverse and interdependent world. Our goal is for students to embrace, with passion and confidence, their responsibility to make a difference by serving their communities, both locally and in the world at large.

Our Culture: A warm, vibrant, supportive community

Developing a strong aptitude for learning, service, and leadership is inherent to our school's ethos, as is a strong culture of caring and support. Mulgrave is highly valued for our positive community spirit, enriched by the diversity of families from about 40 countries, and its vibrant learning atmosphere. Experienced teachers from around the world provide a comprehensive, appropriately challenging, and personalised IB curriculum to an equally ambitious and capable student body.

Our Strategic Plan 2021-2024: Weaving Our Future, Common Threads

Over this three year period, it is our intention, while being true to our school's guiding statements, to build on our success from our previous strategic plan and to ensure that we continue to provide an outstanding future-oriented education for the students in our care. We will engage student agency and technology to continue to support increased personalisation of learning, curriculum and support. We will focus on student health and wellbeing with more emphasis on social and emotional learning and the use of outdoor education experiences. And we will focus on students' skill development with special emphasis on creativity, global citizenship, and social entrepreneurship.
