One of Italy's top schools, Marymount International School Rome offers its students a long tradition of academic excellence. Over 81 nationalities and around 14 faiths contribute to its vibrant community life, and the School has championed social justice and intercultural understanding throughout its 76 year history in the footsteps of its founders, the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary.

An English-language program of studies from Early Childhood through Grade 12 (ages 2-18) prepares Marymount graduates for many of the world's best universities and colleges. Marymount's International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is complemented by an American High School Diploma and Advanced Placement courses.

The curriculum, regularly revised and updated to capture emerging technologies and global concerns, is fresh and meaningful. It features a wide array of languages including Ancient Greek, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin and Spanish, in keeping with Marymount's deep commitment to an international education. With over 80 electives in High School, including a wide variety offered by the prestigious Global Online Academy, students have every opportunity to deepen their interests and expand their horizons.

Students are encouraged to think for themselves, and are equipped to do so from the Elementary School, where they develop logical argument, rhetorical skills and philosophical vocabulary to ensure that their engagement is supported by building solid critical foundations.

Students have access to a wide variety of bespoke individual and group academic, athletic and artistic enrichment plans such as grade-level clusters, JuniOrchestra, and Model United Nations, in addition to a well-rounded extracurricular activity program and a plethora of trips at home and abroad.

Marymount's 40-acre campus features multiple outdoor spaces which include a regulation-size soccer field, multi-purpose sports fields, tennis and basketball courts. The Forest School offers a unique learning environment that encourages curiosity, observation, and exploration from Early Childhood all the way through Grade 12.
