Colegio San Patricio El Soto is a catholic coeducational secondary day school for children from ages 12 to 18 years old.

Our school is part of Inspired Education, the leading global premium group of schools that offer excellence in education to over 75,000 students worldwide. From exchange programmes to exclusive camps, to leadership conferences and shared learning experiences, Inspired offers a range of enriching global opportunities which give students a chance to travel, meet peers from other countries and become a part of a vibrant international community.

Since its founding in 1958 our school has employed teaching methods that create a unique and comprehensive educational model. We have implemented strategies such as an inquiry-based approach to lessons and a multilingual approach to learning.

Our school has been recognised for this optimal learning environment: Colegio San Patricio was previously awarded the accolade of Best School in Spain in El Mundo's "100 Best schools in Spain" guide. PISA for schools, a project that assesses schools' prowess in Maths, Science and Reading has declared us the best school in Spain, and we are also ranked in the Top 5 of Forbes Magazine's best 50 schools in Spain.

Attending San Patricio means joining the SanPa family. Our community makes school a warm and welcoming place for all.

IB at Colegio San Patricio:

At the age of 16, students at our school have the option to choose between the Spanish National Baccalaureate and the IB. We have been an MYP candidate school for the past year and a half and will be offering the MYP in the coming academic year.

We believe that the IB provides a holistic educational experience, allowing students to maintain an education that is both broad and focused. The Dipolma also consists of core elements - CAS programme, Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge. Overall, the IB creates a well-rounded, critically thinking learner.

In 2022, our average IB Diploma score was 34, with 17% of our students achieving a score of 38+. Meanwhile, for the National Baccalaureate, the average score was an impressive 10.596 out of 14 and 24% of students achieved a score of 12+.

These outstanding results have meant that our students have been accepted by some of the best Universities in the world such as UCLA and Georgetown University in America and Imperial College and Bath University in the UK.
