Agora Portals International School is a private international school in Majorca member of the Globeducate group which owns and operates more than 57 schools worldwide. We focus on achieving academic excellence, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum and meeting the individual needs of each student under our care. The school incorporates an official Music Academy and, in 2011, Agora Portals International School became the first school in the Balearic Isles to offer the International Baccalaureate to senior school students.
Agora Portals is located on the island of Majorca at Portals Nous in Calvià, and belongs to the highly respected education group, Globeducate. Our mission is to provide our students with an outstanding academic education along with a strong ethical foundation, and our curriculum is designed to facilitate linguistic immersion, particularly in English and Spanish.
Our senior students can study for both the Spanish National and the International Baccalaureates and we have a 100% pass rate for both the Spanish University Entrance Examinations and the IB Diploma. We offer full programmes in Music, Sports and STEAM and aim to equip each of our students with the academic and personal skills that they need to become confident and responsible citizens who can shape the world.
With the aim of transmitting to students the value of preserving the seas and oceans, we have created the Aula del Mar, a project within the Agora Posidonia Experience. A unique project in the Balearic Islands and a pioneer in Spain.
Always working to innovate, in September 2023 our students will be able to enjoy the Agora Innovation Center, a benchmark classroom in Spain, which our students can use exclusively.
Location
Agora Portals International School is situated so close to the sea and surrounded by nature, our students are lucky to be able to study in a calm, focused and positive working environment, with all the facilities and resources that they need to succeed at every stage of their education. We have an official Music Academy on site and excellent, purpose-built sporting facilities, including outdoor courts and pitches, a fully equipped indoor sports centre and indoor swimming pool.

IB World School
Agora Portals International School, after 10 years of implementing the IB Diploma programme, started teaching the IB methodology from the age of 3 (the Primary Years Programme ) from September 2021 and is starting the MYP from September 2023.
