Yew Chung International School of Beijing students recently treated their families, classmates and teachers to a showcase of their musical talents during the school’s annual Winter Concert series. Focusing on winter-themed songs, the concerts consisted of orchestral arrangements, solo performances, interpretive dances, and even a rock band!

The workshop was offered through ACAMIS (Association of China and Mongolia International Schools) and was joined by teachers and administrators from other Yew Chung Foundation schools, as well as international schools around Beijing.
With the technological advances of the 21st century, the world is literally changing every day. It’s challenging for parents and schools to prepare children for the future when that future is less predictable than in times past. As such, it’s more important than ever for schools to be innovative and adaptable – that is, for schools to mirror the society in which they’re preparing their students to enter.
