The International School of Flanders comprises of two campuses in two of the most green, liveable, family friendly suburbs outside of Brussels - Waterloo and Tervuren, we cater for children ages 2.5-18. We are accredited by CIS (Council of International Schools) and COBIS (Council of British International Schools) and are a registered Cambridge Online School and Exam Centre.

We offer small class sizes, individual attention and differentiated learning to all of our students. In our Primary sections, we follow the International Primary Curriculum, which is an internationally-minded, thematic based curriculum that encourages students to develop their ability to learn and acquire the skills needed to become life-long learners. In our Secondary section Years 7-9, students follow a curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, Years 10-11 students follow a two-year IGCSE year programme from Cambridge, finally our Year 12-13 (A-Level) curriculum caters for students aged 17-18, preparing them for University entrance.

Our community is truly international, and we embrace individual differences, cultures, and religions. We foster in students the values of understanding, cooperation, honesty and respect. We believe that building a child’s self-esteem and confidence is paramount. Our small class sizes provide a safe, caring and secure teaching environment where children receive individual attention and enjoy learning through exploration and discovery. ISF is a Google for Education school. All our students have access to Google learning resources using Chromebooks, Tablets and Interactive whiteboards. ISF is also working towards becoming a Green Flag school, and as such our students are involved in Eco-Friendly initiatives both in school and in the local community.

ISF has recently launched an Online School - Inventum International Online School. Here learners can access our future-focused coursework, resources and assessments in real time with the flexibility of allowing them to learn on their own schedule - anywhere, anytime.
